General conditions of sale / rules on board
45° NORD eurl
I / Marine spirit…
45° NORD pays particular attention to courtesy between crew members and respect for each person. No discrimination of any kind may take place on board.
Mutual aid and companionship are essential during navigation and in marinas.
The same applies to the people met during stopovers, the ships encountered at sea and the places frequented during stopovers.
II / Boarding
Boarding is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on the first day of the course.
In the event that a trainee cannot board on the 1st or 2nd day of the course (e.g. if he has a major last minute unforeseen event) he will need to notify 45° NORD which will do its best to pick him up at that time.
Sailing periods missed by a team member cannot give rise to a pro rata reimbursement.
For all other cases, boarding only takes place on the first day of the course.
III / Cancellation by 45° NORD
In the event of cancellation of the course before departure (e.g.: damage, lack of participants, BMS, etc.) and in the absence of a replacement option, the course will be reimbursed (excluding services) and without any other compensation. The amount of the license remains acquired at 45° NORD and cannot be refunded. If the cancellation occurs during the course (interruption for which the organization is responsible: damage, illness, etc.), a refund will be made for the days not completed (excluding services). External elements making navigation impossible during the course cannot give rise to reimbursement for periods not sailed (BMS, etc.).

The trainee attests on their honor to know how to swim 25 m, to be able to immerse themselves, to be in possession of a medical certificate of no contraindication to the practice of sport, to be medically fit for the practice of sailing and to undertake to inform the captain of any pathology or allergy whose consequences may be aggravated by medical recourse made more difficult at sea. If this pathology does not contraindicate the course, it is imperative to bring with you the medications corresponding to the processing in progress. 45° NORD disclaims any liability relating to a medical case.
For trainees aged 75 and over, a medical certificate must be sent to 45° NORD before the start of the course.

Certain exceptional circumstances that cannot be controlled at 45° NORD (damage, weather, inaccessible port entrance), may force the course of the course to be modified (places or times for the start or end of the course, program, substitute sailboat). In this case, 45° NORD is not required to provide reimbursement or compensation.
Any activity outside of sailing is carried out under your responsibility (swimming, diving and in particular apnea, trips ashore, etc.). Consequently, failure to comply with the instructions of the captain for safety reasons must be taken into account. subject to a liability waiver in the logbook.

It is set up from the start and managed by the trainees themselves (allow around €15/day/person). For the rest of the food shopping, this is done collectively outside of sailing hours.
XII / Discount conditions
Discounts on internship costs are only on the initial price of the internship. They are not applicable to services (license, etc.), they do not concern “Plaisance Coaching” and are not retroactive to registrations already in progress.
XIII / Image rights
I authorize 45° NORD eurl to use my image. All photos can be edited (including those where I am) without me objecting. However, if I object, I must clearly communicate this to the captain. If I identify a photo where I appear a posteriori on a communication medium and I wish to object to it, I notify the representative of 45° NORD with whom I am in contact; the document will be withdrawn.
